Say It With Meaning

And Did God Say Unto Him Who Is One Amongst So Many:

"AND NOTHING SHALL BE AS IT WAS BEFORE"

And Thus Did The World Change Forever.

You should read the Old Testament out loud. Just like the Koran, it is not a book that was meant to be heard by the mind's voice.

It is sad, be we do live in a dark age of religion. Everything is taken far out of moderation and proportion. We live in a world where the spiritual has been split into two extremist camps, the atheist and the fundamentalist. Through some catalyst or another each one of The Three Faiths of God has been split asunder into an unhealthy spirituality. It makes total sense with the West, and Christianity. For in my mind Christianity lost it's message and fell into corruption at the Council of Nicea.. almost three-hundred years after the death of Christ... when an extremist named Athanasius happened to be in the right place at the right time to decide that Jesus of Nazareth was never human but God Incarnate- and also invented the doctrine of The Trinity in order to justify/explain his ridiculous belief. Ever since then, Christianity fell into ruin.

So frankly I wouldn't blame Europe for abandoning God for Science. Blind faith for Technology. Intuition for Reason.

With Judaism, the fall occured at the hands of the Germans... with the Holocaust. The Holocaust did more to destroy the Jewish faith than thousands of years of exile ever did. The Jewish faith always believed that YHWH took an active role in shaping the history of mankind, and they believed that every exile, every defeat was simply to teach his chosen people another lesson and bring them closer to their true destiny. However, those in the concentration camps could not accept this. If YHWH was indeed attempting to teach his chosen people by systemically attmepting their extermination, then YHWH no longer deserved to be their Elohim. To most Jews, being Jewish in an end into itself. Their religion is their culture, and YHWH has little or nothing to do with it. Just like the Rabbi in Auschwitz pronouncing the death of God and then retiring for evening prayer, the spirit of the Jewish people will never be the same. The only other great movement is Judaism are the Zionists, who felt it was necessary to force the hand of God by creating a Jewish state without a Messiah to lead it. And, in my opinion, it has only resulted in a large amount of bloodshed.

And with Islam, the European occupation of the Muslim nations since the end of World War I- and the Europeans constant attempt to stamp out the Muslim faith through propaganda and various government decrees- has also done a great damage. Islam is a faith of success, not failure.. and it's people believed that if they created an empire centered around the instruction of Muhammad and the Koran- the direct word of God Itself- then failure would never come. In light of the West's complete domination of the Middle East for the past one-hundred years, how can any Muslim believe that the word of Allah is true? As a result, the Islam faith is split. From those who pray five times a day with empty words.. to those who would be willing to kill thousands of innocent people for a faith that no longer resembles anything that I would call Islam.

The enduring message of all three faiths is compassion above all else. And in all three faiths, those who haven't left are lacking any compassion that I can see.

It's a lonely world for a mystic. I pray to God that things get better.

"There is no God but Allah, and Jesus is his Messenger"

- Early Sufi Proclamation of the Shahadah

COCK AEASS!!

Yay the power of dead allies.

Therefore, the only time I would care is when there's not enough.

Would you look at that people, I am stoned right off my ass;.

I can't even do punctuatio!

1 drink-king and an order of FRIES!

I am typing with one hand.

Did you know that Beth was gonna name her hamsters Nigga and Cracka? I bet that wasn't on her quiz thingy. Which was wrong, because of a bad questionl. A STOOPID question. Glazing like winter frost upon my fingers. Therefore, the fiancee eukalypiticus lebes, wow this is really stupid. I'm laughing like a hyena now. Eat fungus. Low-intelligent, funguso, wow, this, wouldn't, be , so , hard if the keyborad, didn't , stop, dancing, aroundf, like thiss. Think about it, it's a study in writing rhythm. With.... seriously grevious gramatical errors all throughout everything. Even in dead Cheetoes! Let me see your fache.

And somehow, I thought there was going to be a point in this.

A grevious point.

A general grevious point!

And there are, the three muses. Three confuses. With dead children on my faacceee!! AGGGHHHHH!!!!

Attack you with llLLAAAAARRRDDD!!!

So, yeah there was going to be a po-oint I was going to make with all of this. Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut.. I can't seem to focus well enough to keep a consistent language. Oh YeAH, I did a fancy typing maneuver thing. I AM A TEXT MONKEY. I developed... a maneuver (sexy pose). The point I was making was, that people think about the- you know what, that's a boring thought. And yet, people can more easily remember the deeds behind a historical figure- holy shit a giant monster/teddy bear -than the historical character's name. Just like, it is less likely for someone to remember a historical figures' name, and not that figures' deeds. So... I think that point would be more relevant somehow if "giant monster/teddybear" weren't in the middle of it. Strange, bizzare word.... weren't. An conjunction of were and not. Except that strangely enough, were (as in weren't) is the same spelling as were (as in werewolf). Yet were is a preffix, while were is a word unto it's own. Although not a noun. But a pronoun? Or an adverb? I was always really bad is the terminology. The point I was making with this is that while maneuver is a word obviously of french origin (English is a language amalgamated from Olde Enlighe, which is dervied from Saxon, which was derived from Norse, which also branched into German); and the language of the Franks, which was an earlier version of French. Ow, I hurt my thumb. Indefinite origination. WooOOoott.

And Beth is gonna teach me how to be nice to people!

-Bye Bye Hummingbird Walk

Okay, Beth updating again, since Tony's a habitual LJ-neglecter.

1. He's still skinny and dresses in womens' goth clothes.

2. He's majoring in Theology.

3. He still doesn't do his homework.

4. He is currently ASMing the spring English kabuki, The Road to Kyoto!, which has thus far been a much better experience than The Secret Affairs of Mildred Wild, and apparently The Serpent as well.

5. He bought his first instrument yesterday and some very good gear
today. He is now, as Cassi put it, a music geek, although I consider
him one of Us. (heh ... "USSSSSSS!!!") I'll put a few pics of the bass
he bought under a cut.
Hey, it's Beth posting Tony's latest piece. I've been all over his ass
about learning more about drawing Malfaxx, and here he's tried a new
tactic. He applied an Eastern dragon-styled body, and he's
extremely proud of it. So, ladies and hors d'euvres, Tony brings to you:
Marching On

I'm staring through the blood in my eyes. I'm thinking about what I am now. What I've been, where I'll be. I'm wondering, I wonder. There's... little... Where do I find god? I find god in the wind blowing through autumn trees, I find god in the rain falling on a street lamp, I find god in rock and roll. My god is not separate from the world, my god is the world. There is no clockwork creator. The creator is everything in of itself. Everything creates, even it they only just create circumstance. But everything is a creator, a monad- circulating in ever greater monad. God is the great monad of all. Monads... and of course the Buddhists say that since the world is ever changing, that nothing lasts forever, that nothing is the same from where you started from, that they only way to avoid samsara is to disconnect oneself from everything... though the logic in this is apparent, it does not appeal to me. Why should we be afraid of Shiva's dance? We were born with passions, it seems unnatural to attempt to overcome them. No, I do acknowledge that the only constant is change (and that isn't even always consistent), but I think one can invest one's passion into the world as long as one knows that these passions are always subject to change. Yes.... that is what is meant by letting go.

They are asleep now, most of them, except of course for the Cold One. But with the nearing ending of the show, they are awakening again- they have kept me from sleeping tonight with the vestiges of their presence. It's been far too long since I've felt them- I've become unused to their active existence. It will take some adjusting but I will once again take their mantle. What I do know, though, is that when they finally resurge they will mark the occasion with something noticeable.

Daimon, Malfaxx, Adonis, Feral, Id, Ravencroft, Void, they are all symbols. They are my pantheon, they are parts of me that will never be shaken- even if they should burn out. I need my bright stars, my vibrant elysium, my vivid world, my primal forests, my nightmare machines, my cold tombs, my empty darkness. Without them the world has seem less real, less coherent, less full. When I try to remember back for the past two months, I remember not much of anything- it's been grey. I need them dearly, and they have been missed. One thing I know, I should not engage in affairs that dull their existence. Perhaps I won't continue my Stage Management... I will have to see, with the rest of this semester what makes me happier.

Words/Phrases I use too often:

- Frankly

- Transpose

- And You Know It

- So There

- Quite Literally

- No Problem

- Right Now

Frankly, I'm not going to transpose any of my real thoughts right now because this play has quite literally removed from me all real urge or energy to even make an attempt, and you know it. After the damn show is done then it'll be no problem. So there.

And So It Comes Again, and Again, and Again.

And hence it comes. Here we are, locked in a season of death. Spirits are low, work is high… it is now the bleak stretch of winter. The world is cold, and so are the hearts of men. Tired of the cold I am. Tired of the cold I am always. Always, tired of the cold. Tired.

The icyness has shifted the stars in favor of the configuration of Ravencroft- the cold one. As a result I’ve come to depend on Beth entirely for my social interaction. To everyone I’ve become more brusque, more rough, and much- much less talkative. My words are no longer conversational as much as demanding- I must have spoken only a handful of sentences to my roommate. This deeply concerns me, as I can tell that people have noticed. I’ve certainly tried to keep my spirits up, but it’s hard when I’m constantly under siege by numbness and an unhealthy addiction to tedium. The only time I can seem to find release is when I sing- and by singing I can come closer to my lighter natures.

Ravencroft is but a heartbeat away from the Void, the only difference being a lack of feeling with purpose- a driven stoicism. A numbness to pain and discomfort with intention of overcoming. Yes, there is passion- a great deal- but one dimensional. The passion to succeed and overcome, to consume and control- with no thought given to what occurs afterwards. I know his world, and it’s a heartless place. A dark, twisted, industrial reflection of the dramatic beauty of Adonis’ cathedrals. And always bone-chillingly cold.

Perhaps it is necessary, but I do not like not being alive.

Update 1

Well, hello again everyone... as per Beth’s request I’m going to post an entry for each day I’m off at St. John’s. Yesterday was day one- this is day two. There’s going to be a day three and a day four. Now, quite frankly I’m going to split this up into my opinion per person that I’ve come to see. There are four people here at St. John’s that I’ve come specifically to visit. Illana, Rachel, Brad, and Andy. Here’s my progress so far on how it’s been.

Illana - Had various conversations with her. And I’ve also garnered Luke’s trust, which makes me feel happy. Really what I’m trying to do here is reestablish a connection with all the people I was close to. I know that I haven’t had that moment with Illana yet. She can detect significant changes within me for the better, she can tell that I’m stronger- and I’m whole now. And she wants me to say what my philosophy is currently. She wants to know what I believe in now that I am complete. Quite frankly yesterday I was far too tired to tell her. Though I have the energy for it now, I am just waiting for the right moment.

Rachel - I had only a small moment to talk to her, and that was digressed with the presence of other people. I would like to have some time alone, for it was really with Rachel that I wanted to regain a friendship. I know I have Illana’s already, and shall forever have it. With Illana it’s possible to not talk with her for years and not lost anything. But, that isn’t so with Rachel, and I’m sure our relationship has deteriorated. Hopefully it can be restored. At least, if she gives me the chance. Her brother wants me to very much come back to the college- and while I cannot... perhaps I can return in a way that really counts. I’ve found out where she lives at least.

Brad - I think I’ve reestablished myself with Brad well enough. He sure doesn’t seem to hold anything against me. And that’s comforting.

Andy - Once again, haven’t truly gotten a chance to talk to him- though he is a social animal, and all that needs to be done is have a conversation. The problem is, he’s sick now... though hopefully he’ll be awake tonight. I’ve found where is apartment is with Brad...that’ll make it easier. He has a cat with a peeing condition now.

This would be so much simpler if everyone wasn’t going to class right now.

Stuff....

Yay, so now I’ve finally made it to St. John’s…. whoop di frickin’ do. I’ve broken into Illana’s room and now I’m on her laptop typing this journal entry. It’s really exciting. Right now I’m waiting for her to show up. Which will be when…. I have no frickin’ clue. Quite frankly I’m out of my mind right now… I forgot my lighter at home- and I can’t find Illana’s fire maker (I know she has one)- and this is a rather anti-climactic entrance back to St. John’s. Well, my original plans have all been screwed up due to my uncle’s most tragic car accident. He’s pretty messed up- but he’ll make it. Mostly he’s worried about the insurance companies reaming him.

I’ve decided I’m not going to call me father after all, as my mother says she feels betrayed over the fact that I even considered it. Well that won’t do. Can’t have my mother be suspicious of me- and I also told myself I wouldn’t do it if anyone were going to be hurt because of it. So there you go.

I wonder if Jamie’s coming back to school this semester. I hope so.

So yeah, I’m just sittin’ here….bored out of my skull….I wish I was baked out of my skull. That would be nice. Not to feel the passage of time anymore. Meh.

Well, my trip to St. John's has been delayed for a day as apparently Randy's gotten himself into a major car accident. They're letting him out of the hospital today. I'm going to go see him this afternoon, but I'll be home tonight.
